New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice Chief executive Hamid Ansari and other parliamentarians on Tuesday compensated tributes to the martyrs of the 2001 strike on Parliament.
Others existing at the ceremony here involved Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan, The legislature Chief executive Sonia Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, expert BJP leader L K Advani, House Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and I&B minister M Venkaiah Naidu.
Congress management Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma, BJP MP Satyanarain Jatiya and TMC MP Derek O’Brien were among other associates who joined the serious ceremony organised in the property of Parliament on the Fifteenth birthday of the strike.
Some of the martyrs’ close relatives were also existing during the ceremony. I&B minister M Venkaiah Naidu said they had communicated to him some issues experienced by them and he would try to assistance them. He also included that some of family members belonged to Haryana and he could take up those difficulties with the local govt.
