Even as PPCC vice chairman Sunil Jakhar preserves that he has no grudge over not getting a cabin in the Rajya Sabha, he said on Friday that there were ‘not enough supporters for farm owners in Parliament.’
The PPCC representative, who was in Bathinda Friday, included, “Not only AAP or SAD, but also The legislature is not having enough comments for farm owners in Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha. The the process of farm owners are not being articulated effectively in both the homes and I think there is an absence of associates of farm owners in the Parliament.”
However, when requested if he was disappointed for not getting a nomination for Rajya Sabha, he said, “There is nothing of that type. However, I truly experience that problems with farm owners should be introduced up in Parliament so as to take care of the agricultural problems.”
He talked about the latest declaration of Partnership Farming Reverend Radha Mohan Singh where he mentioned that MSP improve alone cannot improve farmers’ earnings, instead farm owners need to broaden themselves into animals, fishery etc. The govt could depart from huge increases in assistance costs, Singh suggested at New Delhi on Wed.
Jakhar said, “This declaration is really frustrating. The NDA govt has already introduced a small improve in MSP and they are in a feelings to quit that as well. This needs to be criticized and I will recommend the Leader Amarinder Singh to demonstrate dark banners to PM Narendra Modi during his trip to Chandigarh on Worldwide Yoga exercises Day on July 21. He needs to be gheraoed for such anti-farmer position.”
